“My experience as a guest of honor at the Kardamyli Literary Festival felt like a warm embrace. The sharing of knowledge by writers, scientists, journalists, and lovers of nature and literature was a breath of fresh air. The cross-pollination of experiences has deepened and enriched my perspective on my own journey. Staying in the house of Patrick Leigh Fermor and visiting the final resting place of the writer Bruce Chatwin has brought the circle full for me. I began my career in Australia and end this long journey in Greece, not to stop, but to continue and pick up where my fellow writers have left off. The journey continues in word and image.”
